I have been driving LD everyday that I am off.  We have been doing really well. We did take a lesson with Scott Adcox in the Beginning of June.  We did  really well. we worked on walking quietly. We worked on trotting nicely as well. I also think that the biggest thing that we worked on was trusting each other. I still don’t always trust that he wont run off and LD doesn’t trust that I won’t leave him alone.  I think we have gotten more trust with each other, but it is going to be awhile in coming.

Paul is still driving LD during the week. He is working on collection with LD.  We are planning on taking LD, Buddy and Bunny to Black Prong at the end of July. I think LD will enjoy the travel.

On a sadder note, One year ago Monday, We release Lookie from these earthly bounds that held his spirit captive. I really miss him. I have to remember that he was put into our lives for a reason. First, he introduced Paul to driving. Second, he mentored LD in life.  I think Lookie is looking down on us and making sure that our lives are still interesting.

I think Lookie would be very proud of LD.  LD has changed a lot over the year.  He is more socialable and outgoing. He is very playful and curious. He has gotten braver. I really glad for him to be in my life.

I took this very shot video yesterday. We got 4″ of rain and the canal next to the pasture overflowed. They were having some fun.
